1959 Johnny Podres Los Angeles Dodgers Game Worn Jersey
This extra fine road gray flannel jersey is an all-original. The left tail has the Spalding tag, with a size 44 tag attached. Under the tag "Podres" and "59" have been stitched into the jersey. Johnny Podres personalized the inside of the collar for our consignor in blue Sharpie (8/10) with: "To Sal Best Wishes Johnny Podres". There is a small stain about 5" below the "L" in "Los". The inside of the left tail has the wash tag, with a "Set 1 1959" flag tag. This jersey was worn by Podres during the first World Championship season with the LA Dodgers.
