Towering trophy presented to Hall of Famer, Nellie Fox for his outstanding performance during the 1959 season. During his AL MVP campaign, in which he averaged .306, he carried the Sox to their first AL pennant in forty years. Upon a lightly colored wooden base, gold figurines and stars surround a matching engraved plaque that reads, "To Nelson Fox of the Chicago White Sox for Most Valuable Player, American League 1959". Excellent condition. Comes with photo of Fox receiving the award in 1960.
