1960's Guy Lafleur Thurso Minor Hockey Game Worn Jersey
Barely 10 years old, playing minor hockey for his hometown of Thurso, Quebec when the scouts began to take notice. Offered here is that uniform This yellow heavy knit uniform has the original neck tag inscribed "Ducharme Sports in Montreal." A crude "Thurso" patch is sewn on front with captain's "C" decorating the left breast and the purple felt #4 (for idol Jean Beliveau) on the back. No doubt one of the most significant and historical items in this collection and certainly the earliest Lafleur uniform that will ever be offered in the hobby. The jersey shows nice game use and was extraordinarily well preserved by the Lafleur family. G.L. LOA.
