1960's Joe Oeschger Single Signed Baseball

1960's Joe Oeschger Single Signed Baseball

On May 1, 1920, Joe Oeschger pitched against Leon Cadore in the longest pitching duel in major league history-twenty-six innings-before the game was called on account of darkness. On this ball, Joe Oeschger not only signed his name but wrote "26 innings, May 1, 1920, Boston vs. Brooklyn." A great piece that documents one of baseball's more historic records.
