1960-1970 Dodger Team Set Collection (nearly 330 cards)
The Dodgers entered the 1960s as World Champions having beaten the White Sox in the 1959 Series. They went on to win two times in the 1960s; 1963 and '65 with another pennant victory in '66. This collection of well over 300 different cards produced by Topps spans the decade and even includes most of the cards for 1970. The key cards and their grades are as follows. Sandy Koufax; 1960 #343 (EX), 1961 #344 (EX-MT), 1962 #5 (EX-MT), 1963 #210 (EX-MT), 1964 #200 (EX), 1965 #300 (EX-MT), and 1966 #100 (VG-EX). Don Drysdale; 1960 #475 (EX), 1961 #260 (EX), 1962 #340 (EX-MT), 1963 #360 (EX-MT), 1964 (EX-MT), 1965 #260 (VG-EX), 1966 #430 (EX-MT+), 1967 #55 (VG), 1968 #145 (EX-MT+), and 1969 #400 (Good). Duke Snider; 1960 #493 (EX-MT but off-cut), 1961 #443 (VG-EX), and 1962 #500 (EX). A few other cards of note are 1961 #480 Campanella MVP, 1963 #412 Dodgers' Big Three (EX), 1966 #288 Sutton (VG), and 1969 White Letter versions for numbers 444 (VG-EX) and 493 (EX-MT). Overall this collection grades Excellent with many cards being much better.
