1960 Fleer Casper The Friendly Ghost Unopened Wax Box (BBCE)
<p>Offered here is a truly rare COMPLETE WAX BOX of Fleer's 'Casper, the Friendly Ghost' issue from 1960. With high grade examples of an individual packs going for close to $600, consider the value (and scarcity) of a full box of 24 pristine packs! Then consider the rarity of finding one in as super-clean condition as this specimen! Close examination of the top shows it has never even been folded back as they often would be in a dime-store display. The box has been authenitcated and encapsulated by The Baseball Card Exchange (Steve Hart, owner, the foremost authority on unopened material). There is a slight tape stain on the top extending over to the front panel where the box was taped shut, presumably to prevent the box from opening during handling. Other than that - ultra-clean and ultra-rare! A true prize for the collector of rare, unopened non-sport material.</p>
