<p>Presented is a wonderful addition to any sports collection - a signed baseball from the American League pennant winning New York Yankees, a team of iconic stars that would more than double the total runs scored by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the Series (55-27) and yet be defeated by Pittsburgh by 4 games to 3. How could that possibly occur? The Yankees took each of their wins by blowouts: 16-3, 10-0, and 12-0. The Pirates, on the other hand, won four close games: 5-4, 3-2, 5-2, and 10-9 in Game 7, on the famous walk-off home run by Hall of Famer Bill Mazeroski in the bottom of Inning 9. <span style="font-size: 10pt;">(20) signatures: Hall of Famers Mickey Mantle and Yogi Berra on the sweet spot.
