1960s-70s Rod Gilbert Game Worn Rangers Gloves

1960s-70s Rod Gilbert Game Worn Rangers Gloves

Tough right-winger Rod Gilbert played his entire 19-year career with the New York Rangers, and he wore these Cooper gloves in at least one game during that time frame. They show tremendous use, with each one displaying his #7. Gilbert was the first Ranger to have his number retired, on October 14, 1979, and the Canadian was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1982. Gilbert still works for the Rangers in an administrative capacity.
