1960’s Gordie Howe NHL All Star Game Worn Jersey
Three decades of NHL All Star magic! Gordie Howe holds the records for most games, most penalty minutes and most power-play goals over twenty-three All Star appearances. Spectacular heavy knit uniform worn by Mr. Hockey in the mid 1960’s as a member of the league’s elite squad. Shimmering single layer “9” appears on the front and again on the back and sleeves. A pair of two-tone tackle-twill stars decorates each upper breast and black and orange striping marks the shoulders and elbows. Neck labeling includes tags from The General and Alger Davidson Sporting Goods in Columbus Ohio along with the size 48 fly tag. This uniform, reused for a few annual All Star match-ups during the period of 1965 through 1968, does show good use and some staining. Gordie has signed his name once on the front and again on the back. A fleeting chance to obtain a piece worthy of prominent display in the Hall-of-Fame or front-and-center in the most premiere collection.
