1960s Sandy Koufax Vintage Signed Photograph by Herb Scharfman
Rarely seen killer combo where both the photograph itself and the signature are vintage. From the peak of his brilliant career this handsome 8x10 shows Koufax as an L.A. Dodger. By one of the preeminent photo artists of the time, Herb Scharfman, who stood as mentor to such luminaries as Neil Leifer. Gallery print has his has name written on the verso, “H. Scharfman.” Perfect ballpoint pen signature is Mint signed simply in the old Koufax style, “Sandy Koufax.” Photo itself has a couple of minor creases o/w EX-MT. Vertical line at left is in the image, not on the photo.
