1961-67 Baltimore Orioles Team-Signed Baseballs Near Run w/1966 World Champions (8)

The Baltimore Orioles became a formidable American League force by 1960 - just six years after moving from St. Louis, and by 1966 they had won their first World Series championship and had established themselves as perennial contenders. Here are eight team-signed baseballs from that prosperous era in O's history: 1961, 1962, 1964 (2), 1965, 1966, 1967 (2). They are highlighted by a beautiful 1966 World Champion ball, complete with 33 signatures, including B. Robinson, F. Robinson (ss), Bauer and Blair. The signatures average 8/10 and the ball is EX-MT. There are an average of 20+ signatures per ball. They include: Brooks Robinson, Frank Robinson, Hank Bauer, Hoyt Wilhelm, Harvey Haddix and more (Brooks is on all but one). The condition of the ball is 5.0 while the signatures average 7.0. The handwritten inventory numbers on the balls hail from the collection of John O'Connor. The balls are housed in their original Spalding ball bags.
