1961 Baltimore Orioles Game Worn Jersey
"Orioles" spans the chest in cursive felt lettering above Jerry Adair's number "7" on the front of this rare zip-up style flannel jersey. "7" appears again on the reverse in orange-on-black and on the left sleeve is a chain-stitched logo patch that's edges have seperated from its orange felt borders. The tail is tagged "Wilson [size] 42" and the collar is sewn with a black chain-stitched, "No 9-61", white felt plate. Good use in the form of light field markings and one small hole (3/16") on the back. Previously worn by Russ Snyder who owned the jersey's original number "9" that was later altered.
