Authors of the most magical summer in baseball history, The Mick and Rajah are together on this OAL (Cronin) baseball. A timeless piece of memorabilia, this signed baseball tells the tale of the summer of 1961, and captures the spirit of that unforgettable home run race for Babe Ruth's record. Mantle across the sweet spot rates an 8 out of a possible 10. Maris to the left of that is even better, nearly a perfect 10 and darker than Mantle's signature. Ball is labeled "1961" in black ink. Very light vintage cream coored patina on this OAL (Cronin) baseball. EX. Signatures obtained in person at Comiskey park during the 1961 season. Obtained from the Glen Miller estate (Director of the White Sox Minor League farm system).
