1961 Topps Football Complete Set
Set has a nice gloss to the cards. It appears as though many of the cards came from vending boxes. 198 card set is displayed in a binder. Stars include: #1 Unitas (EX), 39 Starr (NRMT, o/c), 40 Hornung (NRMT), 59 Brodie rookie (EX+), 67 Checklist (EX-MT), 71 J. Brown (EX-MT), 77 Brown In Action (NRMT+), 122 Checklist (EX-MT), 150 Maynard rookie (NRMT, o/c), Jack Kemp (NRMT+), 182 Otto rookie (NM-MT), and 198 Checklist (NRMT). Lot also includes 23 different pro and college stickers (these were issued 1 per pack in ’61). 9 of them have a number written in pencil on the front. Set averages EX-MT to NRMT with about 5% better/lesser. Set offers good break-up value.
