1962 Al Kaline Detroit Tigers Hand-Painted Baeseball by George Sosnak
The distinctive folk art style of George Sosnak is front-and-center in this baseball featuring his favorite team, the Detroit Tigers. Dating from 1962, it depicts slugger Al Kaline following through on his sweet swing with a Tigers logo prominently featured. A handful of Tigers have signed the ball - including Norm Cash and Mickey Lolich - but the signatures are faded and not really relevant as the artwork is the value in this offering. The ball is in Very Good condition with a light coat of shellac.
