1962 Casey Stengel New York Mets Cardboard Advertising Display
Rare first year Mets advertising for Rheingold Beer and the Mets features Casey Stengel and Miss Rheingold, Kathy Kersh. Kersh later went on to regular TV work on The Beverly Hillbillies, The Man From Uncle, and Batman, just to name a few. You already know who Casey is. Cardboard store display (13-5/8 x 19-5/8" with easel back) is EX, matted and framed (23-1/4 x 28-1/4"), and comes with original New York Journal American newspaper ad, dated April 16, 1962 featuring this same ad.
