1962 Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris Signed Agreement
Their success together spanned far beyond the chalk line borders of the diamond. Amending a previous agreement with Uni-Wear the M&M boys agreed to expand their current licensing to include “Major Leaguer” jerseys. Sealing the deal with two spectacular 10/10 blue ink signatures. Agreement printed on 8.5x11” paper and dated February 15, 1962. Affixed to the top of this crisp, white sheet with four strong corners is a gold star. The only, almost unmentionable, flaws are two 1/16” tears along the right and bottom borders o/w EX+. Joined by two letters from their attorney Benjamin H. Fried. Ex-Barry Halper Collection. COA.
