1962 Topps Baseball Wax Pack GAI 6.5
The 1962 season ended with McCovey lining out to Richardson. But it began with one of Topps' cooler editions. Even the wax wrapping on this unopened pack is a classic. An anonymous player looking like he's swinging at the re-introduced stamp set gets the blood stirring. Who will be inside? Koufax? Marichal? Mickey? One of the 10 Babe Ruth biography cards Topps introduced that year? We love the description of the contents on the back under the Bazooka ad: "1 Slab Gum Plus Picture Cards." That's all you need. The '62s were Topps' biggest issue to that point, with 598 players, plus a few variations. Maybe you'll tear this open and look for those elusive high grade 62s? Nah, keep this one closed for investment purposes. Either way it's a fantastic pack from a very desirable year. Graded GAI 6.5 EX-MT+.
