1963 Mets Old Timers' Day Carving Set Presented To Cal Abrams
In the early days if the Mets, when they had no history to call their own, the team would hold annual Oldtimers' Day events prior to regular-season home games, inviting several retired baseball stars with a focus on New York players. From the franchise's second season - and last at the Polo Grounds - comes this beautifully boxed carving set that was gifted to former Brooklyn Dodgers outfielder Cal Abrams. It features an EX-MT box with brass plate has raised Mets logo. The stag-handled three-piece set is in MT condition and fully functional.
