1963 Rolling Stones Contracts for Performances at The Royal Albert Hall (2)
Imagine a day when the Rolling Stones were an opening act. Back on September 15, 1963, just one year after the band formed in England, Mick Jagger and the boys prefaced another relatively new band known as The Beatles at the Pop Prom. Offered here is the contract (file copy) from that Sunday elite event at the Albert Hall. The contract and other documents, including a magazine excerpt, are framed, measuring 12" x 27". The second is dated November 7 for a February 1, 1964 performance through the Don White Agency that would pay the band a whopping salary of 150 pounds for the night. It measures 12" x 18". Both are in NRMT condition.
