1963 The Beatles Christmas Show Signed Program w/Caiazzo LOA
On of the nicer Beatles signed pieces you will see. This is the tour program for the UK tour of 1963-64. Great cover of the Beatles by Dezo Hoffman leads the way. Inside is a fabulous page showing the Beatles in front of their “Christmas” cake. The page is signed by all four Beatles in blue ink. The inscription reads “To Susan, Love from the Beatles Ringo Starr.” John Lennon, Paul McCartney, and George Harrison have further added their signatures. Ringo has further added to the cover in the same pen, “To Susan Love Beatles.” Program is further signed by various bands that appeared on the bill on their images: Billy J. Kramer and his “dynamic backing combo” The Dakotas, two members of The Fourmost, and Tommy Quickly. Program itself is excellent while all the signatures are NRMT or better Including The Beatles. There is some contrast deficiencies because of the dark nature of the photos. However, the John Lennon is best of all written on their white cake. This has been authenticated by noted Beatles expert Frank Caiazzo and will come with his letter of authenticity. It also comes with a letter from “Susan” dated April 5, 2007. It explain that the program was given to her by her-husband who was a sales representative for Vox instruments. He visited the Beatles at the opening show December 23, 1964 Finsbury Park to make sure the gear was up to snuff. He asked the performers including the Beatles “to autograph this programme. They did and included a dedication to me. (signed) Sue Hanby.”
