1964 Harlem Globetrotters Yearbook Signed by Satchel Pagie, Philip Stark & Abe Saperstein
Globetrotters '64 yearbook marking the hardwood wizards' 37th season has added sizzle -- the signatures of legendary pitcher Satchel Paige (who sometimes toured with the team, doing the old "baseball riff") and the Globies' creator and president Abe Saperstein, who'd also owned some Negro league teams when Satch played in the leagues. Signatures in blue pen on the bright yellow cover with a Lou Darvas illustration, grading 8/10s. Another signature from Philip Stark, possibly a fighter from the '30s. Yearbook is VG-EX with a bit of soiling on the right edge of the cover, a slight bend of the right corner and mild foxing of the outer edges of the pages. 7.75 x 10.5"
