1964 The Moody Blues, Cheynes, Five Dimensions, Coach Trip and John Mayall Ricky-Tick Club Poster
Offered is the ultra-rare, original poster created to promote the weekly shows that were every Friday in October of 1964. The poster included the shows for every Friday of that month, including (in order) The Moody Blues (2nd), The Cheynes (9th), Five Dimensions (16th), Coach Trip (23rd) and John Mayall (30th), presented at the Ricky-Tick Club at the Thames Hotel in Windsor, Berkshire. The "Tick" was a very influential early blues club. This super scarce, boldly lettered poster measures approx. 32.5" x 22.5" and is in Excellent/Near Mint Condition. The poster was printed on extremely thin, tissue-like stock and this example has been mounted on a very supple linen backing, which has kept it very well preserved.
