1965-68 Bill Mazeroski Game Used Bat (31.5")

1965-68 Bill Mazeroski Game Used Bat (31.5")

In the history of the Pittsburgh Pirates, there isn't a better second baseman and in the history of bat collecting, there hasn't been a better gamer from one of the greatest position players of all time. Bill Mazeroski was propelled to stardom after hitting the most famous home run in World Series history (1960) and defensively he has yet to be matched. This bat is all that, and then some. A ton of great use went into this Hillerich & Bradsby S2, as you can tell from the almost blackened area by the handle where pine tar was deposited and worked onto the lower part of the handle. The barrel is absolutely covered with ball marks. This old faithful surely made a lot of trips to the plate with Maz, as it is used to its fullest extent. Cracked handle has been repaired. Screw hole in the middle of the knob from being mounted. A beautiful bat worthy of only the best collections.
