Early-career Rose bat was used in the frame dating back to 1965-68, meaning that it may have banged out more than a few hits from Pete's first .300 seasons -- .312 in '65, beginning a thread that saw him clear that plateau 15 times over the next 17 years. Louisvllle Slugger S2 personal model bat is signed by Rose in blue marker (8./10) under his engraved name. Characteristically, bat is taped 6" above the knob due to Pete choking up on it, with pine tar residue further up. Light markings on barrel.
