1965 California Angels Team-Signed Baseball w/Extremely Rare Dick Wantz Signature
Spalding Official Home Run League ball features the 18 signatures of the 1965 California Angels including Dick Wantz; Willie Smith; Bill Rigney, and the rest of the Angels from California. Wantz pitched one inning in his only Major League game on April 13, 1965. It was his first and last big league game as a brain tumor took his life exactly one month later at the tender age of just 25. His autograph on anything is incredibly rare.
