1965 Philadelphia Gum War Bulletin Unopened Wax Box (BBCE)

Complete, like new wax box of 1965 Philadelphia "War Bulletin" non-sport cards. The box houses twenty-four 5¢ packs, and features graphic illustrations of an American soldier in the center flanked by smaller images of German and Japanese soldiers on both sides. The set title is boldly printed in white on top of the box; it is interesting to note that the set is commonly referred to as "War Bulletin" and not "World War II" as indicated by the graphics. The entire box comes shrink-wrapped and guaranteed by Baseball Card Exchange (owned by Steve Hart, the foremost expert on unopened material). The display box is bright and bold, with only a few minor touches of shelf wear. It otherwise presents exactly as it did on store shelves over fifty years ago - and easily at the NM level. Would you dare open it to discover any GEM MINT examples that lie within? An outstanding complete wax box of a very popular non-sport issue.
