1965 Willie Mays' 495th Home Run Baseball
Prodigious clout brought the great Hall of Fame center fielder within five long balls of the Club, and 165 from his final career tally. ONL (Giles) baseball exhibits exceptional use from the Wrigley Field blast, and is notated in vintage ink with the date and number "495," along with the inscription, "Best Wishes, Willie Mays." LOA is from the man who acquired the ball from the Wrigley Field cameraman who caught the ball and had it signed. Home run baseballs, we think, are one of the coolest things to collect in this hobby, and only one guy has hit more than Say Hey.
