1966-67 Bobby Hull Game Used Stick - Gifted to Son of HOFer Leo Boivin (Boivin LOA)

1966-67 Bobby Hull Game Used Stick - Gifted to Son of HOFer Leo Boivin (Boivin LOA)

Legend has it that the great Bobby Hull's slapshot topped out at 118 miles per hour, and this classic "banana blade" stick was game used by the Golden Jet from the 1966-67 in which he scored 52 goals in just 66 games. It was given to Paul Boivin, son of Hall of Famer Leo Boivin, during a Detroit Red Wings vs. Chicago Black Hawks game during that season. The left-handed shooting stick has what would now be an illegal swooping curve, with black cloth tape on the handle and electrical tape forming the butt end. The number's "9" and name "Hull" are stamped in black on the shaft of the stick, which is a Northland Custom Pro Model that shows nice use. Comes with LOA from Paul Boivin. Below we are posting a link to a YouTube video of Leo with this stick along with a couple other items of his we have in this auction:
