1966/67 Jim Elliot Game Worn Pittsburgh Steelers Jersey (COA)

An alumnus of Herschel V. Jenkins High School and Presbyterian College, Punter Jim Elliott played just one season in the NFL but was afforded the luxury during that singular campaign of wearing one of the most attractive uniform designs of the decade. This Batman style home black durene with gold shoulders is highly coveted by uniform collectors. Number “6” is sewn on the front, back, and sleeves in a soft white twill. The tail end of the tail piece was removed to accommodate the desires of the player but the front portion of the crotch piece, complete with all the original buttons, remains intact and really adds to the visual appeal of the specimen. The tagging is also intact and especially nice as, in addition to the “Rawlings 46” tag and washing label, there is a colorful “Pittsburgh Sport Shop, Inc. Athletic Equipment, Pittsburgh, Penna.” local tag. This exemplar exhibits light wear and remains in fabulous condition. It would make a killer display piece serve as the envy of all your uniform collector buddies. Comes with letter of provenance from the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Jersey comes directly from the Steelers archive and come with an LOA from the Steelers. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of Steelers Archives items will be donated to the Chuck Noll Foundation for Brain Injury Research.
