1966 Beatles "Butcher" Cover Magazine
This was the June 11, 1966 issue of the British Disc and Music Echo. Other articles are advertised on the cover of this complete magazine. This cover is much "rarer" (speaking of meat...) than the Butcher album cover itself. Titled, "Yesterday and Today", the cover created much controversy, and a more subdued cover of The Beatles was pasted over the bloody old one. To the right of the Beatles, the cover of this magazine says, "Merseys jealous of the Hollies! Page 8, Cilla, I just can't stop myself Giggling! Page 8, and Sandie, TV miming no Crime! Page 7".
