1966 England World Cup Press Credentials
The eighth staging of the FIFA World Cup took place in England in 1966, and this tiny 3" x 4" media booklet resembles a passport and features Ivan Kuhn's photo ID inside. The cover reads: "WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP JULES RIMET CUP 1966 FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION WORLD CUP ORGANISATION (sic)" with the press number 0661. The home fans were successful as their heroes doubled-up West Germany, 4-2 in the final that year.
