1966 Muhammad Ali "In Training" for George Chuvallo From-The-Camera Negatives (12)
Stunning matching imagery portrays Muhammad Ali training for what we believe is the George Chuvallo fight at the Maple Leaf Gardens in 1966 in Toronto, an epic brawl that is perhaps the greatest ever fought on Canadian soil. This is based on where in the collection they were discovered. Although he lost, the Canadian fought like a champ. It consists of three strips of 2.25" black & white negatives, each has a matching Type I contact strip that are about 10x2.5". The original negatives and images in this collection are by the personal photographer of Ali's manager Herbert Muhammad. Unpublished, they have not seen the light of day for five decades. Recently discovered, they come with the photographer’s rights. All of the negs/transparencies are unique, “Type I” images that can be used to make prints and products of the finest quality and huge scale.
