1966 Muhammad Ali, Jim Brown & The Original

1966 Muhammad Ali, Jim Brown & The Original "Dirty Dozen" B/W Transparency

Taken by Ali’s personal photographer, Lowell Riley, this outsanding image shows two of “The Greatest” athletes of the 20th century together in an interesting location, the set of “The Dirty Dozen.” The 2.5 x 2.5" type 1 contact print shows Muhammad Ali is visiting friend Jim Brown, noted actor Clint Walker and Ali’s manager Herbert Muhammad. This remarkable movie was filmed entirely in England from April 25 to October 13, 1966. We believe Ali stopped by for a visit while in England for his fight with either Henry Cooper or Brian London, both of which took place in London in 1966.
