1967-68 Eddie Joyal Game Worn Kings Jersey
Joyal was a pretty talented offensive player who in 1964 helped the Detroit Red Wings reach the 1964 Stanley Cup final. In Game 5 of the finals, he scored the winning goal against Toronto's Johnny Bower, giving his team a 3 games to 2 edge in a series they failed to close out. When expansion came along it helped Joyal's career. He was claimed by the Los Angeles Kings and enjoyed five impressive years there. This jersey is from the 1967-68 season and has the Kings majestic crown on the front. Above it is his "A" for assistant captain. Sleeves and reverse have his number "16." Rawlings tag is missing from tail. First year jersey. Comes with a pair of Kings socks. The overlapping "V" style neckline is a clear indication that it's a first year Kings jersey. Very few of these have survived, as many went down to the minors. A real find for vintage collectors. Excellent condition.
