1967 St. Louis Blues Inaugural Season Team Jacket (Heinz LOA)

1967 St. Louis Blues Inaugural Season Team Jacket (Heinz LOA)

Classic 1967 St. Louis Blues team jacket dates from the franchise's inaugural NHL season. Blue jacket has Rawlings size 44 patch sewn inside near the bottom of the zipper, bluenote logo patch is on left breast below "St. Louis" in yellow letters, number 18 in yellow is on the right breast, back is blank. The jacket shows nice use and, interestingly, has a total of eight (8) team repairs with one on back, four on bottom front right, and three on left shoulder. This jacket comes directly from the personal collection of former player Rick Heinz, and it was given to him by one of the Blues' trainers from the dressing room storage locker when he played there in the early 1980s (number 18 was worn by journeyman forward Larry Keenan in 1967). Not only was '67 the season in which the Original 6 saw its first expansion, but it doubled the NHL to 12 teams with the addition of six new markets. Comes with LOA from Rick Heinz.
