1968-69 CHL Fort Worth Wings Game Worn Jersey
Ron Walter's first uniform worn with the Fort Worth Wings of the Central Hockey League is identical to those worn up in the "Bigs" in the Motor City. Heavy white dureen jersey with the number “22” displays decent wear with two team repairs and a few unstitched runs. The embroidered winged wheel of the Detroit Red Wings sits high up on the chest. Olympic tag with the frayed “Size 46” fly tag in the neck. Washed out "General" style tag in the tail. Perhaps the rarest minor league jersey in existance? Can all of these Olympic Wings jerseys be from Detroit? This one came right from Walters and there is no doubt that it was worn in Fort Worth.
