1968-69 Pittsburgh Penguins Game Worn Jersey

This striking road (white) durene jersey was worn during the Pittsburgh Penguins second year in the National Hockey League by Bill Speer and Leo Boivin as evidenced by the number change from 17 to 2. Two team repairs on the front left side with the beautiful Pittsburgh Penguins circle crest sewn boldly on the front. Lace-up collar leads to All-Star Sporting Goods and size “48” tags in the collar. Some light sweat stains around the collar. Five team repairs on the right sleeve with four on the left sleeve. General Athletic manufacturer’s tag is sewn inside the back left hem. The number “2” is sewn perfectly on the back in navy and light blue twill.
