This beautifully matted and framed original cardboard poster advertised the Jimi Hendrix Experience and Soft Machine appearing on July 30th, 1968 at Independence Hall Baton Rouge, LA. Two days after Warner Brothers gave the Experience gold discs for "Are You Experienced?" Jimi played this show, only the second date on a massive US tour. According to sound man Abe Jacobs, after performing two shows, Jimi went to a small club to see some sixty-year old blues men perform and jammed with them, as well.
