1968 Joe DiMaggio Game Worn & Signed Coach's Jersey
Seventeen years after hanging up the pinstripes, Joltin' Joe made a brief reappearance in a big league dugout as a coach in his childhood stomping grounds of Northern California. Stunning light green road jersey represents the absolute rarest of DiMaggio collectibles, worn by Joe as he passed the wisdom of his years down to members of the '68 A's. Sleeveless flannel has brilliant green and gold "Oakland" arcing across the chest, with the famous number "5" on the back. Use is evident but light, as he wasn't out swinging the lumber anymore. Tail tagging is from "Tim McAuliffe Inc. [size] 48" with a "'68" year tag. Blue sharpie signature, Sincerely, Joe DiMaggio," is NRMT. Also included in lot is 8x10" color photo of DiMaggio in the green and gold signed in perfect blue sharpie.
