1968 John Cappelletti 1000th Career Point (All Time AFL Scorer) Record Full Ticket PSA VG-EX 4 (Pop 3 - One Higher)
Historic ticket from the contest between the Boston Patriots and San Diego Chargers at Fenway Park on November 10, 1968. In Boston's 27-17 loss, Gino Cappelletti became the American Football League's first 1,000 career points scorer and finished with an AFL record 1,100 total - a mark never to be broken. Full ticket measures 5x2" on light green card stock. Encapsulated by PSA as VG-EX 4 but presents significantly better, with crisp printing and no evident blemishes except perhaps slight touches to the corners. Back has a couple of stray streaks, likely from the printing process, and the word "PATRIOTS" is lightly visible in reverse, likely from a stamp on another ticket or document.
