1968 Lou Brock Presentational Stolen Base
Yes this is a real stadium base made by Rawlings with its markings. It was presented to rock star Lou Brock for his league-leading 62 stolen bases in 1968, the Cardinals' championship year. The base is the real deal, complete with peg on bottom, while the vintage red paint applied on the top reads: "1968" and "62." There's some toning and spotting on top but one of only two of these we have ever seen, both of which are in this auction.
