1968 Mickey Mantle Affrin Advertising Poster in Original Mailing Tube
One of the last ads he did as a player, Mickey Mantle is the pitchman in this great poster for Affrin Nasal Spray, circa 1968. It measures 18x36" and the caption, comparing the Yankee great to the nasal spray, mentions his career-ending total of 536 homers, which was then fourth on the all-time list. Not only is the poster rare, but a great bonus is the original packing tube which has a mailing label with a silhouette image of Mantle as portrayed in the poster, addressed to a doctor in California. There are some tape marks and light tears, but it still rates in EX condition.
