1968 Reggie Jackson Game Worn Jersey
A strong argument could be made that this is the 500 Home Run Club and Hall of Fame member's rookie jersey, as he suited up for only thirty-five games the year before as a member of Kansas City. Regardless, this is a hugely important jersey-no question about that. Sleeveless home white gamer shows heaps of use from a season during which Reggie clubbed homers number two through thirty. Green and gold "Oakland" is bold across the chest, with number "9" on back. Tail tagging is from "Tim McAuliffe Inc. [size] 44" with a "'68" year tag. Accompanying the shirt is a framed display piece (13x19") featuring a NRMT signed photograph and two baseball cards with Reggie in an A's uniform. In both the photograph and the 1969 Topps card, Reggie is wearing a jersey identical to this one. It is certainly very possible that it is the one we proudly offer here.
