1968 Signed Sports Illustrated Cover with Roger Maris
One of the tougher-to-find signed SI covers, which was issued on October 7, 1968 and pictures the "Money Men," which at the time comprised baseball's best paid team. This is Lou Brock's own copy and he personally obtained each of these signatures. It is autographed by all pictured: Roger Maris, Tim McCarver, Bob Gibson, Mike Shannon and Lou Brock. The cover has a small punch hole and the mailing label is removed with some wear around the edges. It still presents nicely, though, and good luck trying to find another. The signatures are a 7 to 8/10 condition-wise. Sports Illustrrated signed covers have been growing steadily in popularity and the future appears bright.
