1968 Super Bowl Champion Rolex Watch
On January 12, 1969, the heavily underdog New York Jets defeated the Baltimore Colts fulfilling Joe Namath's brash prediction from days earlier. It marked the first time the AFL defeated the NFL in a Super Bowl, proving the AFL was as talented as the superior NFL clubs. The Jets, led by Namath's offensive prowess, handed the Baltimore Colts a 16-7 defeat despite a solid outing from Don Shula's team. Here is a never-worn fabulous Oyster Perpetual Rolex watch commemorating the Jets' championship. It is marked "World Champions 1968" on the face with the Jets logo. Engraved on the back is "Ike Kuhns Newark Star Ledger". This rare watch with comes with original box, carton, tags, warranty and booklet. It is in NRMT condition and is still ticking!
