1969-70 Chicago Blackhawks NHL Championship Ring

Coming off a disappointing season, the 1969-70 Blackhawks surprised many hockey experts by catching fire mid-season, racking up a franchise-record 99 points and. Here's a championship ring from that magical season, presented to rangy right winger Eric Nesterenko with his name on the left shank, along with the word "PRIDE" and flag icons. The opposite shank showcases the team logo and reads: "CHICAGO" and "HARMONY." The 10K, Size 11 ring was manufactured by Jostens and stamped inside. It comes from Nesterenko's family and is accompanied by two LOAs. It is in NRMT condition and reads: "69 NHL 70 CHAMPIONS" around the face, which features a blue sapphire-style stone in the center. The Hawks were led by Stan Mikita, who scored a team high 39 goals, 47 assists and 86 points, while In goal, Tony Esposito emerged as one of the top goaltenders in the league, as he posted a team-record 15 shutouts. Nesterenko was near the end of his 24-year NHL career and this represented his only NHL championship.
