Issued just before the NFL-AFL merger was announced, this football card set concentrated on the junior league AFL and were distributed on boxes of Eskimo Pies. Similar to the Post Cereal cards issued on boxes, these Eskimo Pie cards were issued on 16 two-card panels with players separated by a dotted line, plus a small ad below. The 1969 Eskimo Pie cards are among the most rare of all football cards and are in high demand, with this card the most desirable within the set.
