1969 Signed First Day Covers
These nine vintage First Day covers are postmarked 1969 to commemorate the 100-year anniversary of baseball. They average EX-MT and eight are signed with notations of the player accomplishments. Among the autographs are Willie Mays, Joe Bowman, Glenn Wright, James Cooney, Johnny Neun, Sam Rice, George Kelly, Gabby Hartnett and Ray Schalk. Each but the Mays is encapsulated by the Postal Service of America, with signatures averaging 8/10.
