1969 Woodstock Original Security Jacket
A truly awesome piece of music history. An all-original security jacket from the 1969 Woodstock Music Festival that was worn only by crew members. Only a handful of these are known to exist. Has a Felco tag in the collar that reads "Small - Nylon". Front of the red jacket has the word "Peace" inside a circle, and the back has the iconic Woodstock logo of a bird sitting on a guitar. Both logos have some minor wear and tear, but this is otherwise in incredible condition. Contained within a thick Plexiglass display box to preserve every last detail. An absolute must-own for any collector. Woodstock was one of the most important events in American history. The music festival brought some of the greatest musical acts together for three days of love, peace and togetherness. This security jacket serves as a great reminder of that event, and also provides a stark contrast to the Altamont Free Concert held months later in California, an unruly and chaotic event attended by over 300,000 individuals that left numerous people injured and one man dead.
